Mitspah Ministries began as a small family gathering of six individuals—bound by faith, frustrated by barriers, and inspired to worship freely. Our name, "Mitspah," comes from Genesis 31:49: “May the Lord watch between you and me when we are absent one from another.” It reminds us that God watches over us no matter where we go. Mitspah stands proudly as a 7th-day Adventist church in both belief and practice. Though it was born outside traditional conference access, our commitment to Scripture, mission, and community is unwavering. We continue to operate with full transparency, integrity, and biblical grounding, offering a haven for those seeking a personal encounter with God.
Mitspah Ministries is not the result of mere ambition—it is the fruit of lived experience, heartfelt worship, and unwavering faith. Our founding leader brings with him a wealth of knowledge and service, having ministered across Haiti in various leadership roles within the Adventist Church. From serving as district pastor in multiple regions to holding departmental leadership in education, youth, chaplaincy, and evangelism, his life reflects a deep commitment to spiritual growth and community building. Upon arriving in the United States, he continued serving within the Adventist community in a volunteer capacity. However, challenges within traditional church structures prompted a new path—one that stayed true to Adventist values while embracing the opportunity for renewed purpose. That path became Mitspah Ministries: a church born in the margins but raised by grace.
